We hope everyone had a great start to February and good luck to anyone playing this coming President's Day Weekend! We are looking forward to seeing you all soon in Boston and wanted to be sure to pass along some important details for your teams.

We are sure many will want to take advantage of the online discounted price for Admission AND they need to know the NEW ENTRANCE INFORMATION.

**NOTE:  EVERYONE plays on SUNDAY!!!**

SUNDAY is bracket and/or power pool play FOR ALL TEAMS. 

Last matches on each court are scheduled for 2pm or 3pm.

ADMISSION INFORMATION:

NEW ENTRANCE INFORMATION to Courts 1-91 in the Exhibit Halls at the BCEC!

**VERY IMPORTANT: THE ONLY ENTRANCE for the Exhibit Halls will be the 
North Lobby Entrance above Hall A.

  • Guards will be posted at all other entrances to direct you to the Main Entrance in the North Lobby.
  • Teams and spectators will be able to exit the building in multiple places, but this will be the ONLY entry point available until 10am all three days.
  • A secondary entrance for RE-ENTRY will be available at beginning 10am near the food court by the AB Skybridge Escalators to enter the Halls.
  • The entrance for the Ballroom Courts (#92-98) is located above the North Lobby for play Saturday & Sunday.

 

NEW SPECTATOR REGISTRATION PROCEDURES!

  • Tickets are now available online at www.SportWrench.com.
  • Children 10 & under are free, but must be be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
  • SIGNIFICANT Discounts are offered when purchased online at ANY TIME.
  • When you purchase online or onsite, you will receive a QR code ticket.
  • Each spectator will need to present their individual QR code ticket along with a corresponding photo ID.
    • The QR Code and your ID must be presented each time you wish to enter the facility
    • These are your tickets! NO WRISTBANDS will be issued.
  • QR Codes will be scanned prior to entry and each re-entry.
  • Minors who do not have an ID must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
  • (If necessary, a printed copy out of the QR code ticket can be presented.)
  • Online price is $28 for All Tournament pass and $15 for a Daily pass (available online through the duration of the event!)
  • On Site price is $40 at the Westin for a All Tournament pass and $15 for a Daily pass
  • Players gain entry in their jersey OR with their Bag Tags. (Bag Tags are available for pick up by Coaches at our new Junior Coaches Lounge near Championship Desk)

 

USA National High Performance Tryout
There will be a USA Volleyball National Team/NERVA High Performance Girls and Boys tryouts on Thursday evening of February 21st in Hall A.

Friday, February 22nd
7:30am Doors will open in the North Lobby of the BCEC
Separate entrances will be indicated for Spectators and Athletes

10:00am Doors will open at the Escalator Entrance FOR RE-ENTRY from the Wicked Good Food Court by the AB Skybridge.

Saturday, February 23rd
7:00am Doors will open in the North Lobby of the BCEC

7:30am Doors will open for the Ballroom Courts (#92-98 Only)

(First matches scheduled for 8:00am)

Sunday, February 24th
7:00am Doors will open in the North Lobby & the Ballroom

10:00am Doors will open at the Escalator Entrance FOR RE-ENTRY from the Wicked Good Food Court by the AB Skybridge.

 

  • NEW THIS YEAR: Junior Coaches Lounge next to Champ Desk in Hall B!!
    All rostered junior team coaches are welcome to stop by Friday and Saturday for lite refreshments (muffins, cookies, brownies, whole fruit, coffee, tea, & soft drinks) provided throughout the day!
  • You will also be able to pick up the bag tags for your athletes during the Lounge hours.
  • You will need to have your QR Code scanned and have your ID to gain entrance.
  • JUNIOR COACH LOUNGE HOURS:
    • Friday, February 22nd:      9:00am-8pm
    • Saturday, February 23rd:   8:30am-8:00pm

 

Olympic Athletes and Sitting Court & USA Volleyball Hall of Fame

This year’s event will host a sitting volleyball court in the center of Hall B near the BC Skybridge (Near Ct #58). Teams and spectators are welcome to try sitting volleyball and compete against some of our Paralympic athletes from the Rio Games!

  • Lora Webster - Paralympic - Gold in 2016, Silver in 2012 & 2008, Bronze in 2004
  • Nicky Nieves - Paralympic - Gold in 2016

 

Tie-breakers
There will NOT be any tie-breaking games played for the Junior Girls 12-17's and 18 Club divisions or the Boys Divisions as we guarantee 5 to 7 matches to each team in this event, depending on the division. In the case of a tie, the teams will be ranked by head-to-head result (in case of a 2-way tie), or, for 3-way or larger ties, set percentage, and then, if necessary, point percentage.

 

For 18 Open, 18 USA, and 18 American we will follow the tie-breaking procedures outlined in the current 18's Qualifier Manual
